on this day, in Nepal full moon day of Ashad-month, Teacher's day or 'Guru Purnima' in Nepali is celebrated. The students give little presents to the teachers to honour their work.

As in most other countries Nepal as well is on it's way to empower women. M-WEC's "Gender Curriculum" informs the pupils about their rights as citizens in general and specifically as women. This Friday Acitivity encourages the women to claim their place in the society.
